Glenda Kerr

Glenda is Specialist Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired.  She taught for many years at the W. Ross Macdonald School for the Blind, in Brantford ON, before moving to Sarnia in 1997.  Glenda is currently employed by the Lambton Kent District School Board as an itinerant teacher. She enjoys traveling to many different schools to work with the students within their regular LKDSB classroom.  Glenda reports that she thoroughly enjoys teaching all children, and especially those with special needs.

Glenda has been a member of the CMHA Board of Directors for a year and a half.  She has a very strong interest in promoting good mental health for people of all ages, but particularly young adults. Glenda shares that her family was deeply affected by the suicide death of her youngest son, and that she volunteers to honour his memory.

Glenda and her family reside in Sarnia and enjoy sailing on beautiful Lake Huron.  Their two children, their spouses, and grandchildren say that visiting Sarnia is like taking a holiday!
